Submit your training proposal through the form below. Selections happen on a rolling basis. The more detail in your submission, the more weight it carries during review.
Submit Your TrainingTraining is the deep-end of SAINTCON. Monday, October 26 is trainings day: dedicated rooms inside the UVCC, capped class sizes, hands-on classes from instructors across the industry. If you have hours of material to teach the security community, this is the slot for it.
What we’re looking for
Trainings covering the breadth of security: governance, defensive, offensive, exploitation, hardware, networking, cloud, and everything in between. Detailed submissions get more weight during review; link to prior conference recordings or training videos when available.
If your material has legal or controversial implications, disclose it in the submission. That won’t disqualify you; it just helps us prepare.
Training formats
Half day (4 hours)
Focused training on a specific skillset, tool, or piece of hardware.
Full day (8 hours)
Deep dive across multiple topics or extended hands-on material.
Both formats run Monday Oct 26 in dedicated training rooms inside the UVCC, separate from the main conference floor.
What we ask of you
If we accept your training, you’re agreeing to:
- Show up Monday. Trainings day is Mon Oct 26. Your class is your class; if something truly changes, tell us as early as you can.
- Submit detailed materials. Capped class sizes mean students arrive expecting depth and structure. Plan slides, exercises, prerequisites, and provide them ahead of time.
- Follow the Code of Conduct. It applies to instructors in particular; you set the tone for the room.
- Be available after class. Stick around for questions, hallway conversations, and Discord follow-ups.
What you get
- Travel covered for trainers based outside the greater Wasatch Front area.
- A full conference pass for you.
- Exclusive SAINTCON wearables.
- An exclusive Speaker MiniBadge.
- Compensation. Negotiated during the acceptance process; not fixed to a specific model.
For international trainers
SAINTCON cannot sponsor visas. International instructors are responsible for their own entry to the United States.
Process
- Submit your proposal via the form above. The more detail you provide, the better.
- Hear back from the trainings manager on Discord during the review cycle.
- Lock in details: room assignment, capacity, prerequisites, AV needs.
- Teach Monday Oct 26 at the UVCC.
