Sign Up to VolunteerAre you interested in the fascinating world of cybersecurity? SAINTCON offers an excellent opportunity to become a volunteer. You'll work alongside Utah's most skilled security professionals and contribute to the conference's success. As a volunteer, you're eligible for a complimentary conference pass with meals. The pass is strictly non-transferable and intended for the individual volunteering.

Volunteer needs shift year to year and other areas come up. Tell us what you'd like to work on; the Logistics and People Management team will find you a fit.
Expectations
To ensure the event runs smoothly, volunteers must participate in the area relevant to their assigned responsibilities. We ask that volunteers commit to a minimum of 1.5 volunteering days during the conference, typically between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Indicate your availability and any limitations during the application process so we can assist you in scheduling effectively.
We say this directly because we’ve had volunteers in past years sign up but not stick to their commitment, sometimes treating the volunteer track as a way to get conference access. Please don’t be that person. The volunteer track is for people who want to work the conference; if you can’t give the time, registering for SAINTCON normally is a totally valid path.
Age requirements
All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older at the time of volunteering.
In exceptional circumstances, volunteers younger than 18 are allowed to attend, provided a responsible adult accompanies them. The accompanying adult must either be an independently accepted volunteer or a regular paid attendee. Younger volunteers may have some limitations on their participation in specific areas.
Code of Conduct
Volunteers must agree to and follow the Code of Conduct.
Time frame
The selection process ends before registration publicly opens. A committee or staff member will email selected candidates at the address provided in the application. Conference registration codes are sent to the same email address.
