Family Night

Bring your crew aboard for SAINTCON Family Night: hands-on projects, hacker fun, and a night to show your family what you have been talking about all year.

SAINTCON Family Night is exactly what it sounds like. It is your chance to bring your family aboard and show them all the cool things you have been talking about around the dinner table all year. Kids solder, build, game, and explore, hands-on and brains-on, with plenty of room for critical thinking, creativity, and imagination.

WhenThursday night, October 29, 2026. Mark your calendar and bring the whole crew.

Who it is for

Family Night is geared toward the family members of SAINTCON attendees between the ages of 4 and 16, though everyone is welcome to come along. Every child needs at least one adult with a SAINTCON Conference badge with them the whole time.

What is in the kit

Registered kids get a bag packed with everything they need for the night:

  • Soldering projectBuild a real electronics kit and take it home.
  • Hacker stickersA sheet of stickers to deck out laptops and water bottles.
  • Minecraft serverJoin in on the SAINTCON Minecraft server.
  • Maps and suppliesEvent maps, materials, and everything for the night.

Good to know

  • Pre-registration is required for every child taking part. Kits are limited, so sign up early once registration details are posted.
  • Bring a photo ID. A government-issued photo ID is required to pick up event kits.
  • $15 per participant. Every dollar goes immediately and directly to buying the materials for the event, so the fee is non-refundable. Space is limited, so register early.
  • Grown-ups come free. Accompanying adults and spouses generally do not need to register or receive a bag, and can usually buy an event T-shirt separately.
