If a container or object is “tamper evident,” it’s designed to make it obvious when someone has opened or modified it. Tamper-evident seals and devices are like any other security control: they have vulnerabilities. The Tamper Evident Community is all about bypassing these security devices without leaving any physical proof behind. That means using heat, chemicals, brute force, and a keen eye for imperfections.
Get hands on
At the Tamper Evident Community, we’ll have tamper-evident devices laid out on tables for you to experiment with and attempt to bypass, including seals, stickers, bags, clips, ties, and packaging.
Commonly used tools are provided at the tables: syringes, hair dryers, heat guns, pliers, cotton swabs, glue, bag sealers, and chemicals. Beginners and pros are all welcome. We'll have something for everyone.
