Pixel Peak, run by MiLwOrkZ, brings the entire network infrastructure, so the room runs on a high-speed wired LAN instead of hotel wifi. That covers LAN classics, current titles, and a peer-to-peer network for anything you want to run between machines.
The room stays available through the rest of the week for power and internet, so it works as a place to come back to once the talks start.
Pizza has shown up in past years and we are trying to make it happen again. The budget is not settled yet, so bring your own snacks.
This is a bring-your-own event. There are no machines to borrow and no games provided, so whatever you want to play has to be on something you carry in. Windows gives the best compatibility with what people tend to run, but Linux and macOS players are welcome.
What gets played is whatever the room turns up with. Past years have seen StarCraft, Cursed Halo, Battlefield 1942, Minecraft, Overwatch 2, League of Legends, Rocket League and PayDay 2. If you own something you want a lobby for, say so on the night.
Finding the room #
The conference room on the west side of the Hyatt Place Provo, entered off Freedom Boulevard. The hotels page has the address and the conference rate.
Just show up. There is no registration and nothing to sign.

The ethernet cable is the one to remember. Wifi works, but the wired LAN is faster. Outlets run short once the room fills up, so bring a power strip.
Never been to a LAN party
Bring a laptop, find a table, and look at what is happening around you. Someone will get you into a game, as long as you have something to play it on. Hardcore gamers and complete beginners both show up, and no one expects you to have played any of this before.
If you already know the drill
The peer-to-peer network is available for whatever you want to run across it. If you need something specific from the setup, coordinate with the event leads ahead of time.
Beyond the games
Capture the Flag with hardware swap. Back by popular demand after being a huge hit last time. Players race through the game while physically swapping hardware between machines, so steady hands count for as much as reflexes.
Trophies. Custom SAINTCON gaming trophies for a few featured games and team competitions.
Questions
Can I come without a gaming PC?
Bring whatever you have. A laptop, a handheld, a Steam Deck. There are no loaner machines this year, so you do need to bring something.
Does it cost anything?
No, and there is no registration. Show up.
Do I have to stay at the Hyatt Place to come?
No. The conference room is open to anyone at SAINTCON.
