Bill Parr has spent over 28 years at Cisco, working as a solutions engineer and, more recently, leading teams of solutions engineers. Today he leads a team focused on delivering secure networking solutions to public sector customers. Networking is his home turf — he's an active CCIE in Enterprise Networking — and his interest in quantum comes from one place: what it means for the future of secure communications. He approaches this introductory session from that practical, networking-first perspective. Outside of work, Bill is a road cyclist and enjoys camping with his kids and grandkids.
